Ian Failies looks back at Willow for its 30th anniversary.

This film had every type of vfx techniques available at the time and some new ones, including digital morphing. There was stop-motion, matte paintings, miniatures, animatronic creatures, over-sized sets for the brownies,fx animation, etc. It had a bit of everything.

In an interesting bit of timing to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the original film, Ron Howard suggested to the press at the Star Wars: Solo premiere that there has been talk of a sequel:
