With all this money Par is saving not doing trek 4 and wwz2, they should be able to afford those two Cruise MIs and TOP GUN 2 ... and still have enough left over to buy him any planet he has his eye on.
I seriously haven't ever gotten that guy's appeal. At all. He's fine playing dicks (COLOR OF MONEY, TAPS, EYES WIDE SHUT), but I can't bring myself to ever root for the guy.
I still haven't even seen the last MI (or MAGUIRE, or SAMURAI.) That's the one where he is hanging on the plane? Or am I two behind? (I saw the Dubai one.)MI 4 - Dubai
my extreme (add as many exclamation points as possible to that) disappointment with Daniel Craig's seeming lifelong gig ruining James BondYeah, buddy!
as badly as Roger MooreWHAT?!?!
I defy you Tyler Mirage to name ONE Roger Moore Bond that was as good as any of the Connery's, even that one-not James Bond that was really a James Bond-Never Say Never Again.my extreme (add as many exclamation points as possible to that) disappointment with Daniel Craig's seeming lifelong gig ruining James BondYeah, buddy!![]()

Alita :Battle Angel is a fine movie , one of the Rodriguez best. I don't think it deserves to bomb at the box office. However I'm not familiar with the manga. One thing and one thing only massively tempers my expectations for this film and his name is Robert Rodriguez. Once Upon a Time in Mexico was the last film of his I enjoyed at all. His willingness to slap anything he shoots up on screen just kills whatever enthusiasm I have for any of his films. El Mariachi, Desperado, and Once Upon a Time....that's it for me from RR.
Weta's VFX are stunning, not only for the animation of the title carachter, but also for the spectacular work on the city and the other cyborgs. I hope ILM will top this work with one of its next projects.
It's more controlled and less over the top than the usual Rodriguez 's stuff. Also, it's quite violent for a pg 13. You can spot the typical director's signatures in the action sequences , but overall the Cameron's influence is evident.Alita :Battle Angel is a fine movie , one of the Rodriguez best. Bond just got bumped back again, this time from Valentine's Day 2020 to April; maybe the newest rewriter (from BOURNE, sadly) is going to downplay the romance angle?I defy you Tyler Mirage to name ONE Roger Moore Bond that was as good as any of the Connery's, even that one-not James Bond that was really a James Bond-Never Say Never Again.my extreme (add as many exclamation points as possible to that) disappointment with Daniel Craig's seeming lifelong gig ruining James BondYeah, buddy!![]()

Ginger Bond's dont compare. It's sad but true. Moore is better than Craig though. I will say that. The Craig Bonds seemed intent on following the The Bourne Identity formula rather than the superior Connery Bonds. I enjoy the Craig Bonds as their own thing but they all have weak, non-memorable, villains and Craig always looks like he just walked out of an MMA fight ring after getting his ass whooped by Ken Shamrock.

Connery was too busy taking himself seriously as the icon of infallible male perfection, while Moore’s was more tongue-in-cheek and leagues closer to an actual human being with a heart, vs. Sean Connery’s ME BIG MACHO MALE MAN NO EMOTIONS mid-20th century caricature of a “man”.
