God I'm old.

Ian's terrific look back at ILM's work on TLW with an interview with animation supervisor Randy Dutra.

If you've ever wondered why Dutra was picked to supervise the animation on the sequel, beyond the fact he was involved in the first film, it was because of his expertise with wildlife, much of which is depicted in his artwork here:

Ha ha, aren't we all? Just a bunch of old farts being reminded of how old we are by constant reminders of 20th or 25th anniversaries of sweet movies.

Haters gonna' hate, but TLW is a very close second to the first one for my favourite JP movie. (In fact, I might honestly place it above the first movie... *looks around suspiciously for torches and pitchforks*)

Ha ha, I'm afraid of torches and pitchforks, not angry emoticons!
