I agree with you, Shane. It all looks great, but if anything is going to jump out as being HEY GUISE IT'S-A ME, CGI!, it might be something like all-digital camera moves of the inner-workings of pipes/machines (looks like a few glimpses in that trailer) or some big CG flyovers of the burning oil platform.Welp, I'll gladly admit I was wrong. I really liked the movie and I don't recall a single moment where something jumped out at me as being overtly CG. Stunning work that I couldn't tell where it began and where the live-action plates ended. So kudos to the VFX team and their well-deserved Oscar nomination.
